The Hillsdale County Emergency Management Office will be hosting a Skywarn® Weather Spotter show/training put on by the National Weather Service. This training will be on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will be held at the Hillsdale County MSU Extension Office, 20 Care Dr., Hillsdale MI. Registration is highly suggested.

May 5, 2026 Special Election
Voters in Hillsdale County who reside in the districts of Hillsdale Community Schools, North Adams-Jerome Public Schools, Reading Community Schools, Columbia School District, Hanover-Horton School District, or Quincy Community Schools will have ballot questions on a May 5, 2026 Special Election. All precincts within the aforementioned school districts will be open except voters in Woodbridge Township within Hillsdale Community Schools will vote in Cambria Township, voter in Woodbridge Township within Reading Community Schools will vote in Reading Township, and voters in Camden Township within Reading Community Schools will vote in Reading Township.
